a) that was evident in the court's selection of an independent trustee
b) that was evident by the court's selection of an independent trustee
c) evidenced with the court's selection of an independent trustee
d) evidenced of the court's selection of an independent trustee
e) that was evident of the court's selection of an independent trustee

Answer A

What is wrong with other choices?
Please explain.

Thanks!

Hi sparkles3144,

When looking at this SC, I'm drawn to the idiom words "evident" (in 3 of the answers) and "evidence" (which is technically NOT here; the word in the answers is "evidenceD."

I know of 2 idiom phrases that use these words:

"evident in"
"evidence of"

Only 1 answer uses either of these phrases correctly, so I'd pick that one - Answer A.
