Hey there Brent.

I began the 60 day study guide just over 3 weeks ago. On the first GMAT Prep Test I scored a 650 (43Q, 36V). After completing the Quantative review the past few weeks using the GMATPrep Now videos (great product), I took the GMAT Prep Test again and scored a 640 (43Q, 35V). I was wondering with me seeing no improvement, at least on the test, should I pause in the 60 day process and go back and study Quantative further? Or continue with the program and move onto Verbal which begins tomorrow? My test is scheduled for 11/19, so I really have about 68 days from my first day starting the guide till the test. Just curious on your thoughts.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Glad to hear you like the videos.

I suggest that you continue with the Study Guide and proceed with verbal tomorrow. The last 17 days of the Study Guide are devoted to taking practice tests and working on your weaknesses, so you can return to quants at that point.

I also believe that our minds need some time to let certain concepts "ferment," so I think it's best to revisit some concepts after you covered all of the content.

Cheers,
Brent
