Hi cld238,

You guessed correctly; these tests are meant to provide baseline scores as well as give you a general idea of how much work you have ahead of you. So, don't bother reviewing them.

Cheers,
Brent

First off, I want to say thanks for replying so quickly.

Secondly, THANK YOU for putting together this amazing study plan. I know I speak for a lot of people when saying that it really does save us from freaking out.

Another question I had is about Day 3... I've already taken a baseline score from one of Manhattan GMAT's tests. Is it best to "save" this other test for another day? Or should I take it since it's from the official GMAT test makers?

Scoring a 590 (37Q / 34V), what are some realistic goals for this 60 day program? I don't have much of a business background due to taking a completely different route in college.

Hi cld238,

Thanks for the nice feedback. I'm glad you like the Guide.

I think the Manhattan test provides a good idea of your present skills. So, save that GMATPrep test for another day.

590 is a GREAT starting point. That's a 58th percentile score, so most people never even get a score that good (after months of studying).
It's hard to say what a "realistic" goal is. I've seen people achieve 200-point increases in 2 months, and I've seen people who hardly deviate from their baseline score. It all depends on the learner and how much work he/she puts in.

Over the course of the Study Guide, you'll take several practice tests, and the results will give you a good idea of your score trajectory.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,
Brent
