Dear fellow BTGers,
I am getting started with my GMAT preparation after a four month break. This will be my second attempt and I have around 9 weeks before I take the test. On my first attempt, I scored 500(Q36, V23). I was more shocked with my verbal score than with my overall score. I had never scored below 36 (nor above 39) in verbal on any of my practice tests.
I am focusing on the MGMAT strategy guides along with PowerScore CS/CR and OG.
I read in one of the debriefs (I do not remember on which forum - I will appreciate if somebody can forward me the link) that it is better to attempt 20 questions in 25 minutes than 37/41 in 75 minutes in order to build stamina and focus on the actual exam. Any thoughts on either practice approach?
Moreover, I will also appreciate if successful re-takers share their preparation strategy. I am targeting a 750+ score and as such would like to maximize my preparation in order to meet or beat my goal.
Sincerely,
gmatiyer
