Query regarding sending Official GMAT scoresB Schools

Expert replies
by kiran_sav » Wed Jul 15, 2009 10:45 pm
Hi,
When are we supposed to give the names of 5 business programs to whom we wish to send the official GMAT scores?
1) Is it during registering for GMAT exam or
2) at the test center on the day of GMAT exam or
3) 20 days after the GMAT exam when we receive the GMAT scores?

Also do we need to carry the GMAT code for the business school where we wish to send the scores?

TIA,
Kiran

You'll enter the scores at the test center, before you take your test. After you do that, there's no changing them unless you cancel your scores.

You don't need codes - schools are searchable by state, if I remember correctly. As myohmy said, you pick the schools before you take the test and can't change them afterwards.

Of course, you can always order more score reports later (for $28) - but the five you get on test day are free.
