Looks like an assumption question...
I went with B - because operator's profit depend on the contionous usage of network by customer rather than on a mobile purchase.
How come new features can increase operator's profit if people do not use the network on a continous basis.
I purchased a subsidized Samsung galaxy2 from T-mobile @ only 100Euro and I only played games and never did internet on 3G.. using this use case the operator is under serious loss because of no income earned for the internet provided over 3G.
So I do not agree with OA. It is not practical.
