Resources of articles, editorials, essays, reports for RC.

Hi,
Can anybody tell me some good resources of articles, editorials, essays, reports, debates etc. etc. to read to improve reading comprehension skills? I want to spent 1-2 hours daily reading some really good material. It could be anything from books, newspapers, magazines, websites etc. etc.

It would be of great help.

Hi there,

Lots of material in the Beat the GMAT link above!

In addition, major newspapers such as the New York Times and Washington Post are great not just for their articles but also for their editorial sections. The editorials are a good way to get a feel for a person's point of view and are usually written at a decently high level.

Furthermore, as you are doing your extra reading practice, you can start thinking about a few things: What is the article/editorial generally about, what type of article is it (a critique? synopsis? etc), what is the tone of the article (neutral? wholly one sided...), and what is the structure of the article/how is it organized?

Thinking in this manner from the beginning will help you get into the frame of mind necessary for when you get into the GMAT Reading Comprehension material.
