Hello Fellow GMAT'ees,
This is my first post of many to come. I began studying for the GMAT 1/5/09. My goal is to take it around 4/15/09. Target Score 730. I have my work cut out for me. I have adopted Eric's study plan. I completed Cracking the GMAT today. The practice test was pathetic. I scored approx 500-520 (This was before I attempted any practice problems). Tomorrow I move on to Kaplan Premier 2009. By the time I am done with the book, and the practice questions My goal is to be in the Mid 600's. I feel that once I get to the Official Guide and narrow my focus, I should be able to jump the extra 100 pts.
Anyone who has feedback for me please feel free. Are there any tips or best practices that I should be aware of as I embark upon my journey with Kaplan 2009 premier?
Question: I have not begun studying Eric's flash cards, nor have I begun any form of analytics on the problems I got wrong. My strategy for Cracking the GMAT was to read the material, take notes, do the problems, and ultimately understand the test as a whole. Moving forward with Kaplan Premier, should I implement a flash card regiment to keep me fresh, and a system for analysis on the problems I get wrong for later assessment? Or is it recommended to parallel my strategy with Cracking the GMAT, and read the book, and begin the above strategies with the Official Guide.
Best,
Kyle
