Inaccuracies in my Scores

Hi people,

Need urgent help. I have my Gmat in 5 days and i have taken the following tests with a very inconsistent score line

Kaplan ( 2 tests, Not online ) : 620 , 590
Manhattan ( 6 tests ) : 670,660,650,680,690
GMAT Prep ( 2 tests ) : 690 , 700

Which of these tests, if any ,are the closest to the actual GMAT.

Also is it possible to have 8-9 questions wrong in your Quant section and still have a score of 48? This happened with me all the time in Manhattan

Urgent advice needed.

nothing from what you wrote is inconsistent. it's possible to get a 48 in the MGMAT quant with that many wrong.

normally, the gmat preptests are the best predictors of your score. how long ago did you take the gmat preptests? which test was the most recent test you took?

Kaplan scores are terrible at predicting actual GMAT score.

your gmat prep CAT scores are likely the closest to actual score on test day.

To answer your other question about getting 7-8 questions wrong. Yes it is. Your individual section score isn't just based on how many questions you get right/wrong, but the level of difficulty of questions answered. If you miss 10 questions, but these are all extremely high level difficulty, you still stand a good chance at getting a pretty good quant score.
