I am trying to study for the GMAT in two months time. I have plenty of free time to do this, and I am very determined. I have time to study about 4 hours per day during the week, and even longer on weekends. Here are the books I ordered to start my process:

1. Kaplan Premier Live
2. MGMAT Number Properties
3. MGMAT Sentence Correction
4. PowerScore CR Bible
5. All 3 of the newest edition OG books (guide, math, verbal)

I would like to determine the best way to utilize all of these books. I have heard to complete the Kaplan, and then use the others to build up those areas even stronger than the Kaplan could. I could take the test in 2 months or I could take it in 3 months; my school fills spots on an as-needed basis (first come, first serve), and I don't want to miss out on this class. Is this all possible in 2 months time, or 2.5? Thanks for any suggestions about using the books and time issues.

Hi JaredSD,

I am no expert , just a fellow GMAT taker .

First of all you should go through the KAplan Premier , then combine all materials and keep a balanced approach with verbal and quant . Solving OG is a must and it will keep you busy for a long time . I am not sure about the time required to complete all this material coz that varies from person to person , may be some expert can comment on that . To evaluate your current position you can attempt the diagnostic test given in OG at the start , that will make you aware of the areas you need to work on .

Wish you best luck with your preparation.
Thanks & Regards,
