I was hoping you could give my profile a quick review before I head into the GMAT Saturday to help calm my nerves. I'm hoping to get a 700 (based on practice tests), but how disasterous would a 630-660 be for my target schools, most specifically NW & Chicago?
I'm a little worried about my GPA as well, due to slacking during my first two years of undergrad. I blew the last two away (almost 4.0)... will this be noticed and give Admissions officers more confidence. How do I point it out?
Also, I do not fall into any minority pools - does this impact me negatively?
Finally, how does my work experience stack up? I think the industries (airline & casinos) are a pretty interesting combo - does this help me as Admissions tries to diversify their class profile? I'm also a little worried it shows promotional growth, but the roles aren't that diverse.
Thank you in advance for the feedback! Wish me luck on Saturday.

Term: Fall 2009
Target Schools: Still browsing - leaning towards Northwestern/Chicago (g/f is a Chicago alum who will likely get in) due to the city. Also considering UC-Berkely, UCLA, MIT, Harvard, Duke, Virginia, Texas
Age/GMAT: 27 y/o (by Fall 2009), Male
Nationality: US White Caucasion - Not a lot of diversity
GMAT: Taking it Saturday, expecting in the 700 ballpark based on my practice tests. GMATPrep (690), Princeton (690), Kaplan (630)
Undergraduate: Industrial Engineering & Manufacturing Systems, Ohio University. Overall GPA was 3.2/4.0, Major GPA was 3.9/4.0 (pretty much straight A's the last 6 quarters)
Experience:
2004 - 2 Years as an internal consultant at a major airline doing financial planning and labor management consulting. Focused on applied IE concepts such as time motion study and managing labor standards. Saved about $3M in expenses through various projects. Also served as project manager for a major software package.
2006 - 1 Year as a Sr Analyst at a Las Vegas major hotel casino with more internal consulting. Worked on potential private equity buy-out project for CFO. Saved about $15M in expenses through various projects.
2007 - 1 Year as Manager of operating department handling customer complaints, in addition to internal conuslting responsibilities. Demonstrated excellent development and leadership skills as employees were promoted to departments outside of mine, and team won region's highest award for Superior Team Results. Also received 99% score on employee opinion survey for my department and had various innovations come to light. Saved about $5M in expenses through various projects.
2008 - 1 additional promotion currently in the works, although the details have yet to be worked out. Likely continuing internal consulting with expense management focus.
Recommendations:
Vice President and Director of my department (Director is current Supervisor)
Extra-curricular:
Participate in a handful of charitable organizations. Also served as volunteer youth wrestling coach.
