Waitlist form query

by gupta » Mon Mar 22, 2010 10:40 am
Hi All,

I have been put on waitlist for UIUC and I want to opt-in for that. I need to fill an online form in order to remain on the waitlist. The form has a specific question :

"If you are considering to attend another MBA program, please let us know what program(s)"

I am in fact considering other programs also. Is it advisable to inform them of the other programs name or will it have any negative effect?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks
Gupta

Hello,

You should be honest and tell them you are considering other programs (it's perfectly reasonable after all). However, you can also mention that you are opting to stay on the waitlist because the program is your first choice and you'll attend if admitted, if that is the case. If not, you can modify your wording to something like you "remain extremely interested in attending the program."

Sincerely,
