Hi,

Can you please evaluate my profile. I am planning to apply only for UCLA Anderson.

GMAT score 630 (Q46, V32)
Work Experience - 8 yrs (5 years as a Consultant in Top Consulting Firm, 2 Years as a Program Manager in Products Firm, 1 Year in Advertisement & Marketing firm)
4 years working in US
Post MBA - planning to get into Marketing/Business development primarily in Entertainment sector
Undergrad - Engineering in Electronics & Communication, GPA 3.32

Basically, you need a higher GMAT. Average GMAT of accepted students is about 710!!!!

Agreed - you have to retake the GMAT! UCLA is a pretty analytical program and a 630 is going to raise some questions. You have some really strong work experience and you don't want your GMAT to hold you back. A 680 and above should put you in play so that's the threshold you should target to cross. To put that into perspective, the 10th percentile of scores was a 660. A 630 may only be 30 points lower than that but statistically speaking, that is a significant gap and much larger than it might seem.
