Hi Everyone,
I have come across a number of converters from %age to 4 point GPA. I know most schools do not ask for GPA if our university doesn't deal in 4 point GPA system. But, while filling GMAT application form on MBA.com it ask for GPA and gives a table for converting different grading systems to 4 point GPA. According to that table my GPA comes around 2.3 (73.15% in Nagpur university, India) which I don't think is a correct indicator of my grades. I wanted to know whether I shall select same 2.3 and move on (hoping this GPA is not used for 5 schools I select before GMAT exam and those schools ask for GPA separately in their respective application forms) or I shall convert my GPA according to WES or Wikipedia tables (according to which my GPA would be 4)?
Also, If I mark my GPA 2.3 as directed by the table given, where will this GPA be used? Because If I fill 2.3 GPA in MBA.com form and select 4 GPA in different B-school applications, Will the School ask for explanation for the difference or simply reject my application for furnishing wrong details?
Can anybody please help?
