GMAT PREP I sequence

by pkw209 » Mon Jan 11, 2010 1:55 pm
Hi,

Couldn't figure this one out. Answer is B. Took this from Zuleron's list of 198 gmat prep questions. Thanks!

132) In sequence a sub n = a sub n-1 + k, where 2 ≤ n ≤ 15 and k is a nonzero constant. How many of the terms in the sequence are greater than 10?

a. a sub 1 = 24
b. a sub 8 = 10

Hi pkw209,

I discussed this question here:

...you should always use the search function before posting...there is always a good chance (esp. for GPREP questions) that it has already been discussed.
