Hello,

I am scheduled to take my 2nd go at the GMAT this Saturday, July 3rd. I've been focusing mostly on Qaunt since that has been my low point (using the MGMAT Quant books and doing practice problems) and have taken 3 MGMAT exams, each with varying results. I need a 500 to get into the B-school of choice.

My first official GMAT score on 05/01 was 460:
My scores:
Quant: 13 or 19th Percentile
Verbal: 23 or 43rd Percentile

My scores on MGMAT have been: 470, 430 and 520, with better verbal scoring on all three. The 520 gave me hope that I'll do okay this weekend, but I know I still need to review these next few days. My math scores on MGMAT CATs are still low, though CAT #3 was better in Quant, actually my best so far (my verbal score are improving, with 59th percentile on CAT 3 for verbal according to the MGMAT score).

Here's what I think I should focus on:
- Work on CR questions since these are my low points in the verbal section
- Memorize most of the important Quant. Formulas (Area, circumference, etc). I know it's bad that I haven't yet or don't remember which formula is for area of a circle vs. circumference of a circle, etc.
- Possibly take another practice exam, maybe go back and take the official GMAT test sometime this week.
- Not waste the week away and do nothing this week (like I did last time around). Time for relaxation will begin as soon as I do well on the the test this weekend.

The only reason I don't want to take another practice exam this week, is that if I do poorly on it, it may make me doubt myself. I feel pretty good about things after getting the 520 on Friday. If you have any questions or need more info from me, please let me know.

As always thanks for your advice, I hope that Saturday will be the last time that I have to take the GMAT.

Have a good week,
P
