Application deadlines

If an application deadline is January 5th do you have to submit all your material January 4th at 11:59 or do u have the whole day of January 5th to get thigns uploaded?

The schools actually publish the exact time the applications close.

Like they'll say 5pm EST, 5th Januaray.

From memory, it's always COB the day it's due.

My experience is, that is it not COB at the date of the dateline, but 23:59

The last one I submitted was for Harvard Kennedy School and it was a COB time.

From Stanford's website "Applications and Letters of Reference are due by 5:00 PM, Pacific Time"

From wharton's website "To be considered for a round, you must submit a complete application by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the day of the deadline"
