Hi Folks,

There are so many courses out there in the market.
Manhattan, Veritas, Princeton, Kaplan.

Which one these is better? I just went through the Veritas site, it claims to have edge over the others.
Could anyone express their view or share their experience on this.

Hi Komal:

All the options are great, but I typically recommend Manhattan GMAT--I think that this company truly caters to the consumer who wants to score high on the GMAT (700+). PR and Kaplan tend to cater to a wider consumer market who on average want to get a 500/600 score range (this is just my opinion).

I saw from your earlier post that you're based in London. I would consider taking the MGMAT virtual course--many Beat The GMAT members have raved over this course!

oooooooooooh...It was a terrible experience...

I am planning to enroll myself to one free Trial Virtual class by Manhattan..then I will be in amuch better position to decide.

Ok, maybe my blood sugar's low and I'm a little cranky, but this is the third thread I've read on here today where people are saying PR is for low scorers, and as someone who's taking PR right now, that bugs me. I am targeting 700+ and am in the upper 600s in my practice (last practice test score was 670) with PR.

I am sure that most people who take a course, period, are starting in the 500s or low 600s, mostly because statistically, there are a whole lot more average scorers than high scorers. Veritas and MGMAT market themselves for high scorers, and that's fine with me. But people who take PR and Kaplan do get 700+ scores too. And I begrudgingly say that about Kaplan, because I didn't like their books at all.

I will report my score after I take my official GMAT, but I guarantee you, it will be a LOT higher one than the 600 you all seem to think anyone who takes PR or Kaplan will get!!

OK, I'm done ranting. Time for an early lunch.
