Need help reg. GMAT

by cognos » Tue Oct 09, 2007 8:25 am
Hi

I am planning to take my GMAT pretty soon....
Is there any time that is good for me...
I have a work experience of 1 yr so far in IT and planning to complete 2 years.....
I have a score of 65% in my Graduation (in HYDERABAD)....
Can u suggest me a time to write the exam and also the universities and the corresponding target GMAT score.
Thanks in advance.

COGNOS.

If you plan on taking applying to business school next fall (2008), then give yourself enough time to take the GMAT twice, if needed.

I don't know how much prep you've done so far, but if you are studying on your own you need about 2-3 months to adequately prepare.

If I had to suggest a date for you, I think April or May would put you in a good place for fall apps. Best of luck!

I have not started my prep yet. Planing to start and looking some good info reg. the stratergy and came to this forum. I liked the forum and the info present here.
Can u please suggest what universities u wud suggest for my GRAD score and GMAT score. I consider that it is a weak link in my package.
Do IIMs have a policy of taking in aspirants based on their score?
Can i get a scholarship based on my score?

It's hard to recommend schools. Personally, I don't understand international grading systems at all. :(

Which countries do you want to pursue your MBA?
