Why did you choose MBA and why this institute.
As Mellisa Mayers took the centre stage to announce the world of her decision that Yahoo would no longer allow work from home policy, the world took a note of her leadership . I told myself on that day that I will be on that stage one day . I told myself that I will be there to change the world . I told myself that I will have to develop the skills to do so.
It all began one evening when my father introduced me to the managing director of Indian Oil Corp. I shook his hands casually not realizing who he was and what responsibilities he had. Later that night, my father told me that he, the person I had met that evening, was responsible for delivering fuel to the fastest growing economy of the world, India. He told me that he was also responsible for the supply of fuel to the soldiers who were fighting war on the frontiers of our country. I wondered at the amount of influence this man could have on the fate of so many people. I realized the value of responsibility and leadership that day. I also learnt that with great powers come great responsibilities.
I decided to pursue the MBA course because this course has the elements needed to develop the leadership qualities. MBA is a unique combination of work experience and elements of leadership taught with the help of case studies. It tells us how to analyze , categorize and organize a particular situation . It tells us how to use our previous experience and resolve the current scenario.
I want to pursue a career in technology consulting field. I believe that MBA will give the required push to pursue that. I want to use my previous experience and mix it with leadership skills to deliver something unique for the clients. In order to beat the monotonous nature , it is necessary to continue to evolve . The MBA is a great source of ideas that can help raise the bar, break the monotonous nature and bring a vision. The MBA degree class also brings with itself a group of likeminded individuals who can give new direction to one's mind. It opens the portal to a new world and teaches the way to capture it.
