Q6. Cannot Say....... (No concrete Cost figure given)

Q16 = 20 days

According to question, GBP and Euro continues to rise by same amount ie, 0.42 and 1.68 every day

So, lets PLUG-IN 30 days....lets see what happens after 30 days

GBP= 70.72+ (0.42 x 30)= 83.32
Euro = 46.61+(1.68 x 30)= 97.01

But, Pluging 20 days results into:

GBP=70.72+(0.42 x 20) = 79.12
Euro= 46.61+(1.68 x 20) = 80.21

Q18 = 2,805,000

Trader buy 15000 GBP.
Ngultrums = GBP 15,000 x 71.06= 1,065,900

Maximum Yen a trader can buy is when Yen is at lowest i.e, 0.38

Maximum Yen brought = 1,065,900 / 0.38 =2,805,000

Q20 = 5830 million

5 years ago, 2.1 x 1000 million passengers traveled compared 3.5 x 1000 million in this year

% increase in 5 years = 66.66%

The rate remains constant for next 5 years

Total passengers traveled by air = (3.5 x 1000m)+ (3.5 x 1000m x 0.6666)= 5,833.1 million, which is very near to 5,830 million

Q 17. = 67.60

Todays ratio = 70.72/68 = 1.04

This ratio was/is constant

Yesterdays ratio = 1.04

1.04= 70.3/World Bank (70.3= Closing GBP today-Todays Increase i.e, 70.72-0.42= 70.3)

World Bank = 67.59615 which is appox near to 67.60

Pls if somebody can explain GMAT appox rules, would be appreciated. ( Is Rounding up and Down of answers allowed?)
