One absolute value bar must ber left out. It must be
|-5-2|4-8|| or |-5-2||4-8|. the point is when you open an absolute expression you must close it. In the problem a bar is missing.

| -7 | -4 | but absolute value are always positive so it is 7 and 4 but as dtweah stated, there is something missing.
