I know the deadline is coming up very quickly, but is there a point to apply part time now? i mean it would be towards the very end, and even if i get my application in, they probably accepted all the people by now right?

If you get your application in before the deadline then there should be seats available. That said, the final rounds tend to be very competitive so there might not be as many seats available as in earlier rounds. If you decide to apply for 2010, aim for round 1.
