Folks,
I'm a silicon valley native and i'm pretty certain on staying here for the rest of my life. I work in software and I have 7 years of work experience with a 750 gmat q49v44. I'm a 30 year old asian male.
i think i have a much better shot at schools like Haas PT and UCLA PT, but there's a small chance I could try for Booth and Kellog Part time programs
-i would like to climb up at my current company and either get into the director level in engineering or try something new and go into strategy
-long term goal would be to start my own software business (in silicon valley CA)
Question is:
Booth has a fantastic reputation, but would that reputation be worth the tradeoff of having chicago based companies at the hiring events? chicago based networks? Likewise for Kellogg?
haas is a great school, but is widely consider a tier below booth or kellog
any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!
