RC - Help!!!

Hi there!

I've been a passive participant in the forum for 3 weeks. I'm rushing the entire prepping in 5 weeks. I have 2 weeks to go.

My background - Accountancy grad, CPA. I was into Project Finance/CorpFin and now doing Credit Research.

Thank heavens, my quant is going well. My SC was pathetic on my 1st try. I got half of the questions wrong. I was able to cut those errors into half after 4 days -- I studied Sahil's notes for 8 times! After a week, I'm doing good in SC.

However, I'm not happy with my RC. I get about 1/4 of the questions wrong. Any advice on attacking RC?

RC is a really tough subject area to provide recommendations because it depends so much on the individual. I recommend spending some time reading through the RC resources available at:

The trick is to do some experimentation and try a variety of approaches. You may be surprised that an approach completely different from the one you're currently using produces the best results.

My current "problem" in Quant -- how to maximize the 75 minutes. In my practice tests, I finish 35 problems in 54 minutes. Decent enough but I believe, my pacing is a bit too fast.

Yes, that pace is definitely too fast. One question for you: Are you scoring in the upper 40s/lower 50s in quant as is? If so, then maybe you don't need to worry about pacing.

I would practice slowing down for each question and using your 'extra' time to make sure you aren't making careless errors.
