How much gross profit did White Store make during...

How much gross profit did White Store make during its Great Refrigerator Sale?

1) The store sold 112 refrigerators for $33,060.
2) The refrigerator cost White an average of $186.

The OA is C.

Please, can any expert explain this DS question for me? I have many difficulties to understand why that is the correct answer. Thanks.

Gross profit = Total Sales - Total Cost

1) The store sold 112 refrigerators for $33,060.

We do not know the value of Total Cost. Insufficient.

2) The refrigerator cost White an average of $186.

We do not know the value of Total Cost and Total Sales. Insufficient.

(1) and (2) together

Gross profit = Total Sales - Total Cost = Total Sales - (# of refrigerators x average cost) = 33060 - (112 x 186) = A finite value. Sufficient.

The correct answer: C
