Saguaro kangaroo rats generally leave watering holes, where food and water are abundant, during the day, while Sonoran kangaroo rats remain near these same watering holes and continue foraging throughout the day. Although sonoran kangaroo rats have larger and more frequent litters, they are generally outnumberred by the Saguaro kangaroo rat

which of the following, if true, would best resolve the apparent paradox described above?

B. The Saguaro kangoroo rat matures much more slowly than the Sonoran kangoroo rat because of its relatively limited food supply

E. Sonoran kangaroo rats are reproductive to greater age than are Saguaro kangaroo rats

1) B is Correct
2) E is Correct
3) B and E both are Correct
4) B and E both are Incorrect

Please choose an option, and explain why?

Lets use abbv. SAG & SON:

Given info for SAG: 1. leaves holes in day time , food and water are abundant.
2. more in number

SON: 1. continues foraging for food near these holes
2. has larger and frequnt litters
3. less in number than SAG

Given this info, obviously E cant be true!
also B goes aginst the info that SAG lives in hole with abundant food supply, thus B cant be true!

I'll choose 4, both E and B are incorrect!

Tell me the OA!!

1, B is correct.

Saguaro rats feed less, mature late and more active.
Sonoran rats feed more, less active and short lived!

OA please!!
