If x-y = 6
then x = 6+y
4(6+y) = 5y
24 + 4y = 5y
y= 24
5(24) = 10z
z = 12
plug in y and z to find x. Therefore you can find x+y+z
you can do the same with the second answer choice:
y = 36-z
5(36-z) = 10z-----> find z (z = 12)
plug it in to find y ( y = 36-12 = 24)
you can plug both y and z to find x and so each answer choice is sufficient.
