i gave my GMAT and got 640 (Q42,V35).I had not expected this score and was looking for 720+.I was getting around 720-740 in GMAT Prep and my quant results were really good with 45-50.So when I got the quant score as 42 I was taken aback.However,my weakness was in my timing.I spent too much time on difficult questions (there were a many ) due to which I had to breeze through the last 6-7 questions.
Verbal too needs pratice ,practice and practice.Even if my quant was high verbal would have averaged it to a little less than 700-710.I now plan to just focus on the strategy and time all the questions.
Can anyone please advise apart from this what else can I do.I have done OG,KAPLAN and had also referred Princeton Review,but did not take any coaching. I plan to sit for exam sometime in Jan next year.
