Where can I get boldface questions for practice. Even though there is a section on this in the Powerscore bible, there are too few questions.

Anyone has a collection?

Seems obvious and probably you have already done that, but have you tried to type "boldface" into the BTG search?

I sucked at those questions, too, until I figured out an approach that would actually work for me.

First I read the argument in full and do not pay particular attention to the boldfaced parts. Then, I look at them and prephrase the role I think they play in the argument. Then, I check whether the two boldfaced parts go in the same or in the opposite direction. Usually then you will find what you have prephrased in the answer choices.

Try this approach out on about 10 question and see if it works for you!

Here are some links to a few. Jaymw has detailed a good approach. One other thing I would add is that it can be easier to just deal with either the first of the second portion in bold first. For example, if you really understand the role of the first portion you can deal with it and then move to the second portion only for the choices you did not yet eliminate.

Oh, and one other thing, whenever I read a stimulus for any question that is not inference or paradox I always have identifying the conclusion as my one goal for the first read through. This is important on the bold faced as well. You often need to be able to say how the bold-faced portion relates to the conclusion. So if there is a conclusion in the stimulus you will want to identify it.

Jaymw, Thanks a lot for taking the pain to explain. Yes my only problem with searching is that I will encounter a problem that will tell that it is from GmatPrep and then Gmat prep results will get skewed. :)
