flucuating scores

dont know what to make of my gmat prep scores
first one was low enough but the second dropped by 40 points
530 and 490
made careless errors but was preety calm
test is in 8 days
target score is now 600
is it still [possible
will be going over mistakes and taking cats for the remainder of time
advice needed

Well I would suggest you to go ahead and give the test and to give it your best shot. I wouldnt read too much into a drop from one test to another. If there was a trend of the scores dropping (that is your scores have been dropping consistently over the last 4 or 5 tests) then it would be indeed worrying but getting lower marks compared to your last test can be due to reasons other than your prep level.

my scores in the last 5 cats were 510 520 460 520 530 and 490?
i going to give it my best and hope i can meet the minimal requirement for admission
any advice
