Greetings all,

I'm thinking of applying to this 1 year global MBA Program and I am interested to hear this community's thoughts on 1 year global MBA programs in general. For this particular program, the students spend 3 months in San Diego, China, India, and the Middle East. Obviously, it would be a desirable degree to the partner corporations (Qualcomm, Intel, Microsoft), but how are these degrees viewed by employers in general? The inaugural year of the program would begin in January 2009 so if I did commit to it, then I would miss out on the chance to hear back from the top U.S. b-schools if I apply in Round 1.

Some background: I am highly interested in international business and entrepreneurship, so this program does seem suited to my needs, but I am worried that it will never have the cachet of a top 10 program.
