IMO B

First thing to take out is color is diff from other sparrows (comparision error)
A,C,E are out

between D & B.. i spent a lot of time... but i feel that the second part of choice D seems to be modifying living in cypress groves, and the "whose" then seems to be ambigious...

wats the OA?

B - that lives only in cypress groves, is almost wholly dependent on the berries of a certain type of vine that grows on cypress trees, and has coloring completely different from that of

D - that lives only in cypress groves, almost wholly dependent on the berries of a certain type of vine that grows on cypress trees, and whose coloring is completely different from that of
D has modifier error - "dependent on berries.." modifies groves as if groves are dependent on berries. Ideally we intend to say that sparrow is dependent on berries. This is done in B by converting the phrase 'almost wholly...trees' into a clause.

B - sparrow lives..., sparrow is dependent on..., and sparrow has coloring... (they are ||llel - though D also tries to trick us by making 1st and 3rd clause ||llel).

IMO B (though it was a tough call)

This is one question that is more susceptible to being attacked from the ends -- the comparison at the end and the clearer relative clause with "that" at the beginning. It gets rid of CDE.
