OK, so I just got into Purdue's MBA program for the fall. My GMAT=500, I have no full time work experience (but I did a summer internship last summer), and my UGPA=4.0. Overall, I think I just got pretty lucky to get in. The question is should I go? I was looking at the curriculum and it looks like its a 1 1/2 years of courses I would just be repeating including a year of undergrad, in addition to the courses I took this semester (I started the NIU MBA this spring because I graduated in fall 07). In terms of academics its sounds like its pretty rediculus to go to purdue considering i'd just be retaking classes (they won't waive any classes or accept transfer credits). But on the other hand, the average salary+bonus of a first year purdue grad is over a $100K (which is pretty damn good).
Would you soak it up and just retake an outrageous number of classes (I honestly think I could teach many of these classes)? Or would you just finish up the MBA at NIU (If I do summer school I would just have 3 classes left for the fall because they allowed me to waive the first year of classes cuz of my business background)?
