Dear Sanjana,

Generally speaking, you will meet the US bachelor's degree equivalency requirement of most schools since you have earned a bachelor's and master's degree in India. There is nothing to worry about regarding the fact your master's degree was part-time. To be competitive against other Indian applicants with IT experience, you do need a GMAT score that is relatively high. Basically, you will want to aim for something around a 670 or higher, but a number in the 700s would be best. There are not many 12-15 month MBA options in the US, so if you are set on completing the degree in that timeframe, then you will probably need to look at more schools in the EU or Asia. There are some great sites out there to research programs, and I encourage you to do your research to identify the best fit for you. The most comprehensive site of MBA programs is mba.com. Hult is a solid program that is growing in recognition. It is quite hard to break into, much less move up in, any ranking as that requires other programs to fall. I think you should research the program and see if it offers the curriculum and resources that would be essential for you.

Good luck,
Lisa

Thanks Lisa for the motivation. This is really good encouragement for me.

I did some research & found some colleges in U.S like

University of Florida
Hult business college
Caroll (requires Business backgroud)
Thunderbird
Wharton
Babson(requires business background-preferred)

Sorry to repeat the question again but i didnt really get your last point regarding Hult & ranking do you mean to say it is difficult to get in ??have you already seen any applicants get in Hult..please share your knowledge

Thanks a lot!

To clarify, my comment is not about the difficulty of admission into Hult. I was referring to how it is difficult for a school to make it into the top 30-40 of a ranking.
