IMO (B).

The area of the triangle remains same so 1/2 * 3 * 4 = 1/2 * 5 * x
where x = PR

Hence PR = 12/5

Where did you get the 5 on the second half of equation?

SQ is the hypotenuse of the rt. triangle PQS and from pythogerous theorm it's 5.

make sure you know the greek guy's formula. pythagoras?
then you know that QS is 5 (3-4-5)
and then you can see the jackpot.

3 times 4 times 1/2 = 5 times PR times 1/2

therefore PR is 12/5
