Solution:

We can let t and b be the revenue from toys and books, respectively, in 2014, and create the equation (notice that we need to determine the value of t/b):

1.12t + 0.83b = 0.98(t + b)

1.12t + 0.83b = 0.98t + 0.98b

0.14t = 0.15b

t/b = 0.15/0.14 = 15/14

Answer: E
