1.
Eliminate C, D, and E.
affects seems to refer to singular noun/pronoun.
However, it is not.
pollutants that is affecting

B. It seems to say...
a group collects and transmits data..with interactions..
does not make sense

Floating in the upper layer of the atmosphere, a group collects and transmits data on the interactions between cosmic rays and man-made pollutants, interactions that affect the climate throughout the world.

Correct answer A

2. Each is singular. Eliminate A and C.
Each .....they were sold. wrong!

E) was washed with vegetable wash and had been sold after

E is wrong. The vegetables were first washed then sold.
It should be had been washed...

B vs. D

B) was washed with vegetable wash before it was sold
D) had been washed with vegetable wash before it was sold

Since vegetables were first washed then sold, it should be had been

(A) pollutants, interactions that affect
(B) pollutants, with interactions affecting
(C) pollutants that affects
(D) pollutants that is affecting
(E) pollutants as affects
1) It is actually the INTERACTIONS, between cosmic rays and man-made pollutants, which is affecting something. It is NOT the POLLUTANTS that are affecting anything. This rules out option C/D/E
2)a) Option B is wordy, whereas as option A is concise with no grammatical error.
2)b) The sentence means these interactions GENERALLY affect the climate worldwide. The sentence doesn't want to say it is ACTUALLY AFFECTING the climate worldwide RIGHT NOW.
2)c) Also, "with" doesn't seem correct here.

Correct Answer: A
'manpreet singh wrote: Each of the vegetables in the store had been washed with vegetable wash before they were sold.
A) had been washed with vegetable wash before they were sold
B) was washed with vegetable wash before it was sold
C) was washed with vegetables washes before they were sold
D) had been washed with vegetable wash before it was sold
E) was washed with vegetable wash and had been sold after

Ans to second question- d
Meaning: Vegetables are FIRST WASHED then SOLD. We need Past perfect tense(had) with verb "wash", and we need past tense for verb "sold."
Eliminating options -
1) "THEY". subject is "EACH of the vegetables" not "VEGETABLES". Eliminate A & C.
2) Option E uses wrong tense and reverts the sequence of action/verb. Eliminated.
3) Between option B & D, D is correct because it uses correct tense.

I hope this helps !!
