Hey there,
First of all congratulations!!! Now, I wouldn't worry about the news scandals about rankings. The ranking is one thing (and yes it's important for the schools) and the school's ability to train you and help you get a job in the field of your preference is something else. My feeling is that scandal regardless, if you are happy to go to Tulane, if it's right for you and it fits your professional and personal goals, you shouldn't let things like this influence your decision much.
