Please guide me

by lkash » Thu Jun 16, 2011 11:56 am
Hello Stacy,

I did my Bachelor in Mathematics - 3 yr course and then MCA (Master in Computer Applications) - 3yr course from accredited Universities in India. Overall I have 12+3+3 = 18 yrs of education and 9 yrs of full time work experience in one of India's top most software firms. Now I am in USA and not working. Kindly let me know whether doing an MBA will benefit me and if so, how the job opportunities be? Should I need to take a GMAT test? If I need to apply for this fall admission 2011, then how to start with? Sorry for asking so many questions.

Awaiting your valuable guidance. Thanks

Dear lkash,

Most MBA programs require the GMAT, so it is the first step if you want to go to business school. I encourage you to do some research on what an MBA is and MBA careers to determine if it is the next step for you. Then you can do further research on the MBA admissions process and MBA programs to determine where to apply. While this website is a great resource, you might find www.mba.com to be helpful as you get started.

Good luck,
Lisa
