Hi,
I went to Cornell Univ. and I'm applying for b-schools which have deadlines in early January. I'm having trouble finding the best way to upload my transcript to my schools. Each school asks that I just scan my transcript scores and send official score reports upon "matriculation only". However, the problem is that Cornell sends transcripts two ways:
1) The first method is via email. This is a PDF w/ signatures. I want to upload this PDF directly into my application. However, when I do, it does "not load" properly. When I view the preview for the application, the transcript is not viewable
2) The second method is via mail. I mailed a transcript to myself, opened it, and scanned it. The transcript is perfectly legible but the word "void" is watermarked after scanned. So, it shows up, but says "void".
So, with option 1, I don't have a transcript that shows up. With option 2, I have a transcript that looks fake. With option 2, I could write a note in the PDF that says "hey, this hasn't been faked, I just scanned my original copy and the watermark shows "void"."
I can send an original copy to the b-schools but two issues with that plan:
1) It won't get in there in time for application deadline
2) Both schools explicity say they just want scanned copies nothing else.
Has anyone else had this issue? What does one do?
I feel like there must be tons of schools with similar transcript policies and tons of students who are just realizing this over the holiday break.
Thanks for your help!
