Statement 1

In the class 30 students have brown hair.
No information about the # no of males with brown hair

INSUFFICIENT

Statement 2

In the class 20 of the students are male
again no information about the # of males with brown hair.

INSUFFICIENT

Combining both the statements

Still the information is not sufficient, since the # of males with brown hair can vary from 0 to 20.

hence the correct answer is E
