Of the 4800 voters who voted for or against Resolution K, 1800 where Democrats and 3000 were Republicans. What was the total number of female voters who voted for Resolution K?

(1) 3/4 of the Democrats and 2/3 of the Republicans voted for Resolution K

(2) 1/3 of the Democrats who voted for Resolution K and 1/2 of the Republicans who voted for Resolution K were female

From statement 1: we don't get any information about Female or male? hence it's not sufficient.

From statement 2: it directly says 1/3rd of Democrats i.e. 600 and 1/2 of the republicans i.e.1500 are female!

Hence it's B!

Given, D = 1800, R = 3000
Let D1 = voted for K, D2 = voted against K
Let R1 = voted for K, R2 = voted against K

from 1) D1 = (3/4)D, R1 = (2/3)R
we cannot tell the no. of females voted for K from this eq.
Hence insufficient

from 2) females voted for K = (1/3)D1 + (1/2)R1
we do not know the values of D1 and R1.
Hence insufficient

Hence 1 & 2 will be sufficient => C
