What does the number x equal?

(1) The quotient when the number is divided by 7 is 52
(2) The remainder when the number is divided by 7 is 2

OA is C

Well, I got A because I was looking at statement (1) in isolation from Statement (2). However, I was wrong. In such questions, whenever divisor/quotient are mentioned, shall I assume that there shall always be a remainder?

Statement 1

N = Q*7 + R . We are given Q=52
52*7+R. Insufficient as for different R, we get a different N

Statement 2

N=Q*7 + R. R=2. Insufficient. N=2,9,16...

1+2

N=52*7+2. Sufficient
