We are given that 1 kg = 1000 g, and that 1 m^3 = 1,000,000 cm^3.

800 kg * (1000 g / 1 kg) = 800,000 g
1 m^3 * (1,000,000 cm^3 / 1 m^3) = 1,000,000 cm^3

800,000 g / 1,000,000 cm ^3 = 1 g / x cm^3

8/10 = 1/x
8x = 10
x = 10/8 = 5/4 = 1.25 cm^3
