Hi all,
I know this looks very simple but I don't understand the explanation in the text.Please see below:-
Let us define symbol[x]to represent the largest integer less than or equal to x.
What is [0.8]?
Explanation in the text : According to the definition again, [0.8]is the largest integer less than or equal to 0.8.That integer is 0.So [0.8]=0.
Why the answer is not 1?
Please help.
