Q Nine positive integers are contained in Set N. The median of Set N is the integer x, and all the values in Set N are 3x or smaller. What is the largest possible average (arithmetic mean) of set N?

A: X B: 17X/9 C: 17X/9 - 1 D: 17X-4 /9 E: 3X

median = x and max value = 3x.
largest average means all the numbers should be max.
5th number=x (median)
6th,7th,8th,9th = 3x,3x,3x,3x
1st,2nd,3rd,4th=x,x,x,x (they can't be greater than x)
mean = 17x/9
