- GMAT Score:710
Hi!
Took the GMAT yesterday. Got a 660 (Q49, V32). Got stumped by the VA section. Prepared for around 8 to 10 days in bits and pieces. Solved the OG and took a total of 6 tests
Princeton Reveiw -1 - Scored 700
Princeton Review -2 - 660
Manhattan GMAT -1 - 550
Manhattan GMAT -2 - 660
GMAT Prep Test -1 - 740
Actual GMAT - 660.
I dont know what to make of these scores but I am going to give the GMAT another serious attempt. Considering my scores in QA have always been around 49 to 51 in all the tests that I have taken, my only worry is attaining consistency on VA. The scores have varied from a 29 to 40. I always tend to get around 9 to 10 questions wrong in VA.
There are two things that I experienced on the actual GMAT; want to know if any of the recent test takers experienced the same
1) Maths - atleast 5 to 6 of them were really tough, especially, the ones based on functions and graphs. Did any of the recent test takers face similar questions? They took too much of my time and probably I got all of them wrong.
[/b]
2) One of the RC passage around the 14 or the 15th question was extremely difficult to comprehend... not the sort of stuff that we find in the economist or any of the reputed magazines or even recent journals. I guess I got a bit psyched by the this passage.
