Is a*b*c divisible by 24 ?

1>a,b,c are consecutive even integers
2>a*b is divisible by 12

Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (2) ALONE is not sufficient
Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (1) ALONE is not sufficient
BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient

ans is A.

How cum A.what if a=0,cos it is said it is even number
0 is also a even number..

if a=0, the product a*b*c will be 0 i.e. divisible by 24
