Is X-Y>R-S?

1) X>R and Y<S
2) y=2, s=3, r=5 and X=6

I had solved this problem as follows,

2) y=2, s=3, r=5 and X=6, since all the terms are clearly stated the required condition Is X-Y>R-S? can be tested and the answer is unique.

so the statement 1 itself is sufficient

1) X>R and Y<S
Is X-Y>R-S, we can rephrase this equation as
X+S>R+Y
and since X>R and S>Y =>X+S>R+Y

so the statement 2 itself is also sufficient.

And hence the answer is D
